The Transition of A Great Heart of Love
Let all that you do be done in love. I Corinthians 16:14

A time of transition: Monday, June 24, 2024; a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance this is the circle of emotions we have experienced in our walk with “Mae Mae” so now we bid her farewell until we meet again!
As we think on Sister Annie Mae Clay’s journey, one word describes her spirit “contagious” . Oh, yes! It didn’t matter what was going on in her life, she greeted it with a smile, a laughter that came from the soul. With a joy that radiated from her touching your soul! You could stand in and wonder how why are you smiling and enjoying the strength that came from her.
The word contagious means to spread from person to person directly or indirectly with positive emotions, feelings, or attitudes. She learned in whatever situation that she was in to be content. She knew how to be humble, and she knew how to abound with joy; she knew that she could do all things through Christ who gave her strength. Mae, Mae as she was fondly called would read her bible and talk to God. She loved to go to church and praise the Lord.
So, the questions I wish to ask each of you today. Are you contagious as a child of God? Will you take the testimony of the life has she left and try to live a beautiful life? Or will you become contagious with sin and never look back? Or will you listen to her testimony to love the living God?
