Billy Terry Chappell, Sr. was born to the late Floyd B. & Velma Marie Chappell on Tuesday, December 15, 1953, in Shiloh, TN. He attended school at Dunbar and Pickwick South Side Schools in Hardin County. He later worked at Coca Cola Bottling Company in Corinth, MS as a bottle filler.

Billy was preceded in death by: his parents, one daughter, Mary Jane Chappell; one son, Harry Chappell; two sisters, Shirley and Marie Chappell; one brother, James Chappell; his wives, JoAnn Chappell & Margaret McGaha; and longtime friend, Ann Dillihunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Billy (Sherri) Chappell of Ramer, TN; two daughters, Jessica Chappell of Corinth, MS and Latoshia (Rick) Phinnessee of Michie. TN; one bonus daughter, Jen (Calvin) Robinson; three bonus sons, Casey (Lineka) Rivers, Eugene Rivers and Tarvis Bailey; three sisters, Katherine (the late Terry) Irons, Mary (Ruben) Damron and Faye (the late Jimmy) Goodlow; one brother, Floyd W. Chappell; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a god daughter, Latosha Burns; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends that will miss him dearly.
