Billy Joe Sappington, Sr. of Falcon Road in Selmer, TN passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of heart complications at the Hardin Medical Center, Savannah, TN.  He loved his children and  buying and selling at flea markets.

Billy is survived by:  four children, Andrea Sappington, Billy (Nicole) Sappington, Zeke Sappington all of Selmer, TN, and Rickey Joe Miller of Booneville, MS; three grand children; two siblings, Jessie (Annette) Sappington of Glen, MS. and Nelda (Gary) Burlison of Henderson, TN

He was preceded in death by:  his parents, Billy Dexter and Nellie Sue Higginbottom Sappington; his grandparents, Hollis and Delila Charlene Higginbottom, Perry and Mae Hammond, and Grover Cleveland Sappington; two siblings, Bobby Wayne Sappington of Selmer, TN; and Dexter Paul Sappington of Ramer, TN.
