Bobby Dee Robinson was born on Wednesday, November 29, 1944 to the union of Matthew and Nancy Robinson in Purdy, TN. Bobby was the youngest of eight children He attended school in the McNairy County School System. Bobby was joined in marriage to the late Wynatta Sanders of Bethel Springs, TN on Wednesday, October 09, 1963. They had three children; Bobby, Jr. (Charlotte), Matilda (William) and Randolph. He was also father to Anthony Stackins and Bobby Dewayne Kirk. Bobby was the last pastor to lead Purdy Wesleyan Methodist Church until his health prevented him from attending.

Bobby joins in eternal rest: his parents, Matthew and Nancy Robinson; four sisters, Gracie, Gladys, Velma, and Wilma; three brothers, Roosevelt, Alvin, and J. L.; two sons, Randolph Robinson and Anthony Stackins; a grandson, A. J. Stackins; and a great grandson, Julian.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory:  two sons, Bobby Dee (Charlotte) Robinson, Jr. and Bobby Dewayne (Selena) Kirk; a daughter, Matlida F.(William) Burton; seven grandchildren, Cory (Ashley) Robinson, Candace Ilene Sheffield (John) Dudley, Destin Sanchez, Jada Dudley, Christopher Burns Robinson, Shenea Stackins, and Braden Kirk; two great grandchildren, Levi and Nylah Robinson; a daughter in law, Shay Stackins; a niece, Jenny Moore; a sister in law, Mable Davis; a host of cousins, friend, clergy people; and a beloved pet, Thunder who will miss him dearly.
