Obituary

Sister Clara Sue "Tuffy' Walker began her life's journey on Saturday, November 03, 1956 as the daughter to Mr. Joe Louis lvie and Ms. Leler Mae Kirksey. She attended Gibson County Schools until moving to Purdy TN. There she attended McNairy County Schools.

In September 4, 1976 she married in holy matrimony Mr. Billy Frank Walker and to this union two children was born. Clara worked for USA Classic as a seamstress for many years until it closed. She worked in housekeeping at McNairy County Health and Rehab Center. She served, as an elderly caregiver and her last employment was at the Tender Loving Care Center in Henderson TN. Clara was a hard worker and she loved the children. The parents and children loved her as well.

Clara loved serving the Lord. She was a member of Greater Evangelical Ministries. Sister Clara was the Hospitality President, she served on the Usher Board, she was a faithful choir member and helped with the children church. Clara also enjoyed organizing and attending family gatherings, she was one that you could always count on when you needed her.

Sister Clara was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Joe Louis Ivie and Ms. Leler Kirksey, her husband Mr. Billy Frank Walker, one brother Mr. Bernie Robinson and her grandparents.

Sister Clara leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Laura Walker of Purdy, TN and Kimberly Walker of Jackson, TN, four grandchildren, Temperance Walker and Joshua Malena of Purdy, TN, Heiress and Maverick Fentress of Jackson, TN, seven brothers Allen (Gracie) Kirksey of Purdy, TN, Randy (Denise) Kirksey of Corinth, MS, Keith Robinson of Savannah, TN, Johnny (Helen) Lawrence Indianapolis, Indiana, James Ivie Sr. of Lake St. Louis, MO, Kenneth (Rochelle) Ivie of Fayetteville, NC, and Cortez lvie Sr. of Killeen, TX; three sisters, Donna lvie of Cincinnati, OH, Candace lvie of St. Louis, MO, and TeKisha (Jerry) Blue of St. Louis, MO; a very special cousin, Sandra Prince; a brother in law, Colby Walker, a sister in law, Linda Walker (James) Nolden and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
