Mr. Clifton Sage Porter, Jr. was born on Thursday, February 15, 1934 in Gageville, Ohio to the union of the late Clifton Sage Porter, Sr. and Pearl Irene Hadlock Porter He departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at his residence.
*Clifton graduated from Kingsville High School, served in the U.S. Navy aboard Destroyers during the Korean War from June 05, 1951 until February 14, 1955, and received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida. He retired in March of 1996 from the Engineering Department at Charlotte County Utilities, Port Charlotte, Florida.
*He was also preceded in death by two of his children, Deborah and Larry.
*Clifton leaves to cherish his memories:  his wife, Anna Mae Blanton Porter; three sons, Clifford Porter, Russell Porter, and David Porter; a daughter, Leslie Farris; four stepchildren, Clenton G. Blanton, Charles L. Austin, Charolett Genevra Brown, and Stacy Joel Austin; fourteen grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, cousins and friends, who will miss his smiling face.
