Mrs. Dorothy L. Robinson was born Tuesday, March 02, 1937 to the late Buford L. and Earline Louetta Abbot McTizic.  She departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020.

Dorothy grew up  and attended school in Hardeman County. She was married to the late Sam Paul Robinson, Sr.  During her life she worked as a farmer, a domestic worker, and in sewing factories to help her husband support their family.  Dorothy always had a love for Christ, her family and the people she met in life. She liked watching her soap poppers (opera's), attending sporting events and church.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by:  her second mother, Lurlie Mae Word; three sisters, Mary McTizic, Martha Woods, and Lizzie Stewart; five brothers, John Buford McTizic, Curtis McTizic, Jerome McTizic, Charles Ray McTizic, and Joe Word.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories:  nine children, Glorious (Henry) Damron, Carolyn (Patrick) Kendall, Ezella Robinson, Paul (Anna) Robinson, Bobby (Rosland) Robinson, Kay (Jimmy) Young, Brenda Robinson, Samuel Paul (Angela) Robinson, Jr., and O. B.(Tina) Stackens; ten siblings, John Wesley (Maxine) McTizic, Samuel McTizic, James (Jo) McTizic, Thomas McTizic, Roy McTizic Jones, Beryl Sain, Lona McTizic, Irma Simms, Sally (Joe) Pugh, Armarie (Clabon) Bates; twenty grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Jo McTizic and Leler Mae Robinson Kirksey; a brother-in-law, Bennie Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services:  Public Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.at Selmer Mortuary.  Wake will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Selmer Mortuary.  Visitation will be at Prospect Church from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday, June 19, 2020.  Funeral will be Friday, June 19, 2020 at Prospect Church at 2:00 p.m.
