Mrs. Faye Lean Jamison was born to the late Vellie and Will Dancer on Friday, January 10, 1941 in Selmer, TN. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Prospect Church where she was the oldest member at the time of her passing. Faye was a faithful member who loved the Lord. She departed this life on Friday, November 22, 2024 at North Mississippi Health Services at Tupelo Hospital after a brief illness.
Faye graduated from the old McNairy County High School in Selmer, TN. She was married to the late Robert (Bo Diddley)Jamison and to the union three children were born. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and church member. She was employed by Jetricks Mfg. Company for many years and loved passing her free time sitting on her front porch talking and laughing with family and friends.
Faye leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Vanessa (Keith)Amos; two sons, Robert (Stephanie)Jamison and Reggie Jamison; three sisters, her twin, Willie Dean Moody, Mae (Don) Wallace and Darlene (Jerry)Prather; a close cousin, Brenda Battle of Fayetteville, TN; a devoted niece, Paula Borner Williams; nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
