Obituary

Mr. Franklin Russom Lambert was born on Sunday, March 01, 1936 to the late W.R. and Wilma Lambert.  He departed this life on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the age of 85 at the Hardin Medical Center.

Frank worked as an engineer for the Tennessee Department of Transportation and B & B Construction.  He retired from Aqua Glass later in life.  Frank also served in the Tennessee National Guard for twenty years.

He was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church.  In his leisure time he enjoyed spending time with his family.  Frank also enjoyed coaching baseball and watching the kids play, he passed his love for baseball down to his son Steven.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife, Glenda of fifty-eight years; one son, one Steven and wife Gretchen; two daughters, Kayla Clark and Kerri Hanks; five granddaughters, Jordan Lambert, Darby McClain and husband Wesley, Aranda Gehringer and husband Kyle, Anderson Lambert, and Sarah Grace Clark; three grandsons, Eli Lambert, Riley Lambert, and Colton Hanks; two great grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Owen and Avery; two bundles of joy on the way, Brenley and Lucy; one brother, Jack Lambert of Selmer, TN; one sister, Carolyn Ashe and Gerald of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Jimmy and Malcolm Lambert; four sisters, Clara Rose Johnson, Wilma Jo Cox, Dale Foster, and Joan Lambert; a son-in-law, Justin Risner.

In lieu of flowers, our family request that donations be made to one of the following, Adamsville Parks and Recreation or the Adamsville High School Baseball team.  These are two groups that my dad loved and supported tremendously as both a coach and spectator.  He passed the love of baseball on to me and he always enjoyed being at or on a baseball field.

Donations may be mailed to either Adamsville Parks and Recreation;
