Mrs. Jamie Lyn King Borner was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1977 in Corinth, MS., the daughter of Carolyn Willcutt Lewis and Donald Joe King.

She was a 1995 graduate of McNairy Central High School. After graduating Jamie worked at Wal-Mart in Selmer, TN for seven years and at Monogram for six years, when her health started failing her.  She loved relaxing by a pool, shopping, going to the beach, and drinking sweet tea.  Jamie loved both of her girls with all of her heart, but her grandchildren brought a sparkle to her eyes.

Jamie leaves to cherish her memory:  two daughters, Aspen (Tavares) Atkins and Amaya Borner (Tyler Parker); a son of the heart, Jeremy Prather; three grandchildren, X`Adriauna Borner, Javares Atkins, and Kamilla Parker; two sisters, Laura (David) Faulkner and Teresa Lester, her father, Donald Joe King; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and acquaintances who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Carolyn Willcutt Lewis; a brother, Michael Coats; a brother in law, Mark Lester; her maternal grandparents, Doris Mason and LV Willicutt; her paternal grandparents, Annie Joe and Bernard King.

Jamie departed this life peacefully at her home on Friday, August 02, 2024 in Selmer, TN and had lived 47 years, 2 months, and 2 days.
