Jerome was born Thursday, December 25, 1969 to Barbara Faye Ross and the late Robert Lee Dixon in Savannah, TN. He accepted Christ at Graham Chapel Methodist Church. He worked at Brown Shoe Company in his early years then he ventured into several traveling jobs. Jerome enjoyed fishing, cooking out, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by an uncle, Louis Thompson.

Jerome leaves to cherish his memory:  three children, Robert Jerome Dixon, Damon Dixon (Toni), and Faydria Dixon; ten grandchildren, Nikals Dixon, Ryler Dixon, Keira Dixon, Greyson Dixon, Amelia Dixon, Gabriel Dixon, Kynlee Rippie, Henleigh McCrory, London Rippie, Avion Simmions; his mother, Barbara Faye Dixon; four sisters, Laura Dixon (Jerry), Rosetta Dixon (Jeff), Ebony (Freddie) Cunningham, and LaKeisha Bowers; three brothers, Tyrone Ross, Jeffery Caldwell (Lenora), and Michael Caldwell; three aunts, Mary Ross, Inez Dixon and Georgia Dixon; an uncle Charles Author; Jordan Weatherspoon; and a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
