Larry H. Stuart, a retired United States Postal Service employee and former postmaster in Hornsby, TN passed away on Saturday, May 06, 2023 in Selmer, TN at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 28 days.

He Was born on Tuesday, November 08, 1938 in Macon, MS to the late Aubrey and Frances J. Mast Stuart. He served his country honorably by joining the United States Army. Mr. Stuart was united in marriage to Lue Wilson on Saturday, April 11, 1964.

After retiring from the postal service, he enjoyed his time on his farm in McNairy County, where he also enjoyed reading and hunting.  He was beloved by his family and friends who miss him dearly.

Larry is survived by:  his wife of 59 years, Lue Stuart of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren, Lacy Moore of Dyersburg, TN, Samantha Russell of Selmer, TN, and Cody Russell and partner Bridget Dickey of Selmer, TN; seven great grandchildren, Zoey, Liam, and Emersyn Moore all of Dyersburg, TN, Danny Smith, Jr. of Lexington, TN, Skye Smith, Kanan Smith, and Jay Barnhill all of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mr. Stuart was also preceded in death by:  a daughter, Debbie Russell; two brothers, Billy and Bobby Stuart.
