Mr. Roy G. Rickman was born Wednesday, December 22, 1954 in Corinth, MS to the union of the late Charlie Rickman and Jewelle Lee Rickman.  He worked in the construction industry as an equipment operator and truck driver. Roy departed this life on Monday, July 22, 2024 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN.

He was preceded in death by:  his wife, Myra Neil Rickman; a son, Brent Allan Rickman; two brothers, Charles Rickman and William Bill Rickman.

Roy is survived by:  his daughter, Heather (James) Wardlow of Savannah, TN; eight grandchildren, Danny (Hope) Wardlow of Savannah, TN, Dillon (Gabby) Wardlow of Selmer, TN, Magan Wardlow (Kevin Jones) of Savannah, TN, Nicki Wardlow of Savannah, TN, Jayden Rickman of Corinth, MS, Anna Durbin of Adamsville, TN, Gala Brown of Counce, TN, Harlea (Dyllon) Brown of Eastview, TN; two brothers, Robert D. (Annette) Rickman and Billy Ray (Diane) Rickman of Michie, TN; three sisters, Linda Sue (Jerry) Spencer of Michie, TN, Mary (Ben) Beeland of Selmer, TN, and Louise Milligan of Corinth, MS; one great grandchild, Mason Wardlow and one on the way (Denver Jake Wardlow); his girlfriend of thirteen years, Christy Shults; her daughter, Ashley (Orey) Miles and their five children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him.
