1946 ~ 2022 (age 76) 76 Years Old

ERNEST YARBRO Obituary

          Ernest was born on Thursday, January 24, 1946 in Decaturville, TN. His parent were George and Louise Walker Yarbro.  He attended school in Decatur County. While in school Ernest played softball and as an adult he liked playing ball with his kids.  While living in Michigan Ernest worked at General Motors for several years.  He is most proud of having raised his children to be men.  Ernest enjoyed spending time outside, and he liked working in the yard during the summer.  He was a morning person and prayer was a comfort to him.  Ernest liked a good burger, enjoyed celebrating birthdays, Christmas, and New Year's.  He was a deacon at King Soloman M.B. Church in Jackson, TN until his health prohibited.  Ernest departed this life on; Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  

          He was preceded in death by:  a brother, Robert Yarbro; two sisters, Dora Emma Yarbro and Mattie Yarbro; a niece Teryl Yarbro; and a grandson, Ya'harre Stennis.

          Ernest leaves to cherish his memory:  two sons, Ernest Harel (Candace)Yarbro, Jr. and William Jeffery Yarbro; eleven grandchildren, Linniqua Yarbro, Dahjaeh Yarbro, Ernest H. Yarbro III, Desirae Crutcher, Da'monnie Evans, Ba'tiste Gray, Sa'tiste Gray, Darrius Dancer, Nazja Reynolds, Andrea Yarbro, Antwinnettie Howard; four great grandchildren, Ka'yonni Samone Yarbro and A'Khari Malik Dancer, Aubrey Stein, and Javien Dawson; two sisters, Billie Gwen Ross and Evelyn Allen; a friend who constantly checked on him in the nursing home, Corine Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
