Mr. George Gary Roberts was welcomed into this world by the late William Edward and Katie Irving Roberts on Saturday, February 14, 1948 in McNairy County, TN.
He attended the old McNairy County High School from which he graduated in 1967. George gave his life to Christ at a young age and he loved to sing.

in the United States Army and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. After his discharge from the Army he worked as a concrete finisher until his health did not allow him. He departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the McNairy Health Care Center.
George was also preceded in death by: his wife, Charlotte Stafford Roberts; three brothers, Harry Roberts, Theauthor Roberts, and James Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Jermaine(Cathyn) Damron, Sr.; a grandson, Jermaine(Ariel) Damron, Jr.; one sister, Bettye Perkins; one brother, Larry(Judy) Roberts; two granddaughters, Yolanda Knight and Aisha Knight of Corinth, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
