Randall (Randy) Dixon, 58, departed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2023 peacefully at home where he wanted to be. He demonstrated great strength, courage, and dignity over many years as he battled multiple chronic illnesses. He was born on December 6, 1964 to Domer & Barbara Dixon in Livingston, Tennessee.
As the middle son of two sisters, he kept them on their toes and was known as a risk taker. Randalls sense of humor was unique and if you knew him, you witnessed this first hand. He was always the life of the party and was always wearing a smile no matter how he was feeling. He loved hard and true and his zest for life was infectious.
Randall lived most of his life in Springfield, Tennessee and graduated from Springfield High School, Class of 1983. He had a passion for older cars and trucks and loved riding motorcycles. He was a hard worker & helper and one to push through even when the pain of multiple surgeries and other health problems began to take a toll on him, while always showing up for his family and friends.
Randall was loved by many who will dearly miss him. His wife, Teri Dixon of 23 years who he loved and adored. His children: Kristen Johnson, Kayla Dixon, Jade Dixon & wife Lauren, Jessika Dixon Collins & husband Corey, Emily Riddle, Amanda Alexander & husband Dusty, Rebecca Minyard & husband Christian. His two sisters, Kathy Dugan and Lisa Patterson. Eighteen grandchildren, and 4 nieces. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives & friends will miss his laughter and fun loving nature.
Randall (Randy) was preceded in death by his parents, Domer & Barbara Dixon, his Uncle Mickey Heady and a granddaughter.
A Memorial Life Celebration will be held in his honor, October 28, 2023 at a friends home, 4182 Mt. Zion Road, Springfield, TN 37172. Family from 1-4 pm and friends from 2-4 pm. Family has requested to bring your favorite color of bandana to honor his love for riding motorcycles.
