Matriarch Sandra Yvonne Alexander Baldwin Reynolds, affectionally known as Mama Reynolds, Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. B, Teacher Reynolds, Granny, or just simply Mama to many, was born Friday, April 17, 1953, in Belle Glade, Florida to the late Mary Lee McCrimmon and Walter James Alexander.
Lady Reynolds graduated from the first intergraded Class of 1971 at Glades Central Community High School. Later that year, Lady Reynolds married her first husband, the late Roman Earl Baldwin Sr. This holy union commence on June 22, 1971, until early demised in 1996. Forty years later she finally married the love of her live on May 19, 2007.
Lady Reynolds received her C.D.A from Palm Beach Community College. She was employed by the Palm Beach County School Board, where she worked as a Paraprofessional and simultaneously obtained a Bachelor's of Art in Early Childhood Education from Bethune Cookman College and Palm Beach Atlantic University where she received her Master's Degree. One of her infamous sayings regarding education, "If you train a child during the rudiment stages of childhood development, the teaching the child obtain will carry him/her throughout their adult lifespan.”
Lady Reynolds was Baptist and filled with the holy ghost in February of 1979 at Glorious Community Holiness Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. located in Belle Glade Florida, where she served for over 20 years. Within those 20-plus-years, she was ordained as a Missionary, an Evangelist, and a Mother. Ultimately becoming the President of the Women's Department. She remained at Glorious Community until she married Pastor Johnny B Reynolds, where Lady Reynolds became the first lady of More Sure Word. Under the unction of the Holy Ghost, He impressed upon them to relocate to Tennessee where they attend the More Sure Word Kingdom Church of Bethel Springs, Tennessee under the tutelage of Chief Apostle Curtis Lake III.
Lady Reynolds is infamously known for serenading loved ones with her rendition of "Happy Birthday Songs" which has become a family tradition.
Lady Reynold leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving husband Mr. Johnny B. Reynolds, her three children and one daughter by marriage: Romanda (Santonia) Cobia, Rochelle Baldwin, Roman Earl Baldwin Jr, and Cynthia Reynold Bush (Lindell) all of Belle Glade, FL 33430. She was the third child of five children, two siblings proceeded her in death, Patricia Alexander Cox and Stanley Alexander. She is survived by brothers: Walter Alexander Jr. and Vernon Alexander. Grandchildren: La’Kia Boatwright, Santonia Cobia Jr, Jowane Baldwin, Sasha Cobia, Joharia Davis, Shanique Burks, Andrea McGlocking, and Rolanda Baldwin. Great Grandchildren: Samuels Williams Jr, Samiya Williams, and Sapphire Cobia. Special Acknowledgements: Ruth Lewis III(Valerie), Stanley Grange (Jessica), Charlesetta Kelly-King, and Kimberly Daniel Johnson (Phillip): a host of relatives and friends.
