TENNER RENAE (NAE NAE) ATKINS

     Tenner Renae Atkins was born in Selmer, TN to the late O'Neal and Christene  Atkins on Friday, January 04, 1957. She was the fourth of seven children.  Renae went to her eternal home on Tuesday, July 06, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.  Renae loved the Lord and devoted her life to Christ and served her savior well.  In 1974 Renae met the love of her life, Johnny Moore of Selmer, TN and gave him over forty years of unconditional love.  Together they had three beautiful children.

     Renae leaves to cherish her memory:  a daughter, Christy (David) Shields; two sons, Bryan (Annie) Atkins and John ( Brandi) Atkins all of Selmer, TN; a granddaughter, Portia Atkins who she raised as her own; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Brenda (Henry) Siner of Selmer, TN, Diane Johnson of Saltillo, TN, and Laura (Fredrick) Wilson of Henderson, TN; two sisters in law, Marie Atkins of Selmer, TN and Kimberly Atkins of Savannah, TN; five aunts, Carolyn Atkins, Clair Nell Stackens, Edith Stackens, Hattie Bell Stackens, and Viola Stackens; two very special friends, Frieda Boyle and Niecy Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

     Renae was preceded in death by:  a granddaughter, Sharice Churchwell; a grandson, Bryan Irons; three brothers, Ray Neal, Lonnie, and Charles Ray Atkins; and one brother in law, Randall Johnson.

     Death leaves a heartache

     No one can heal,

     Love leaves a memory

     No one can steal.
